Frequently asked questions
Why digital instead of just a thermometer?
You can boil water, wait, and use a thermometer — but you'll be inconsistent shot to shot and lose temperature during the pour. Digital + hold-temp means every brew starts at the same temp and stays there for the full 3 minutes.
Is the gooseneck spout actually necessary?
For pour-over, yes. A regular kettle pours too fast + too wide, you blast the coffee bed and channel. Gooseneck gives you a controlled narrow stream — you can pour at 4-8g/second precisely.
What temperature for what bean?
Light roast (Yirgacheffe): 95-96°C. Medium roast (Cerrado, Doi Chaang): 92-93°C. Dark / espresso (Signature): 88-90°C. Hotter = more extraction; lighter roasts need it, darker roasts get bitter.
Voltage compatibility?
220V / 50Hz — Thai mains-ready out of the box. International power-base swaps available on request (contact us).
